29th Birthday!

Well we had our birthday party Saturday night and it was great. We had friends and family come. My hubby had a great cake made for Lori and I. He is such a sweetie. He also bought me a water proof camera. It was great to have everyone together. The kids swam and the adults drank. Thank you to all who came! Love ya!

Go SAINTS!

Well my hubby and i went to the Saints Vs. the Texans game on Saturday night and had a blast! We had plenty of Saints fans around us which was great! I had a few YARD margaritas and was toasted by the 3 quarter! Needless to say I did not drive home! The picture of us two above I took but couldn't hold still. Baby Everett- Baby shower

We had Amanda'a baby shower Saturday the 8th for baby Everett. She will more than likely have him around September 17th ish. We also had a great turn out. She received many items that she needed. The setting up and taking down took longer than the actual shower did. I am glad that she was happy about how it turned out! I love you Mandy!!!! Hurry up Everett

Our Anniversary!

Wow! 6 years. I can't belive it has been that long. I am so blessed that God has kept us together for so long. I have faith that we will have many more to come. Saturday (07/18/09) we went to Galveston because thats where we went for our honeymoon. There wasn't much open and we didn't get to eat at Gidos either. We were there for about a hour then decided to go to the mainland and do some shopping. I bought Ricci and really nice chain bracelet and he loved it. Ricci bought me a new 19 inch flat screen and DVD player for my scrapbooking room. I love it. I had a 10 inch T.V. in there and it was so old i could even connect a DVD player to it. That afternoon we went to see Harry Potter. It was a good movie but very long. On Sunday (07/19/09) we layed around the house and then went to Red Lobster to celebrate 6 years. Too make this week better we will go to our first adoption information meeting on Tuesday. I will update more after the meeting. Good night!

Time with Tyler!

I picked Tyler up Friday night with Ricci so that Tyler and I could spend time together. We went to Chick fil-a for dinner and then shoe shopping. We had a great time and we even managed to get Tyler a pair of school shoes. It was 9 before we even got home. Ricci and Tyler played baseball and football on the PS3 until midnight. The funny thing was that it was Tylers first time on the PS3 and he almost beat Ricci at foortball. For those of you who know Ricci very well he lives on the PS3 and it isn't very often that someone come close to beating him. I thought it was funny. Tyler is a very smart kid. I went to bed at 10 because the heat is killing me. saturday we woke up and went to see Ice Age and it was a great movie. Tyler and I laughed the whole time. After the movie ended we did a little more shopping and found Haily new flip flops. I really enjoyed all the time that he and I spent together.

4th of July 2009

We had a great 4th of July this year. We were only missing my dad and Lori and her family. We went to my grandparents house in Alvin to celebrate with brisket,pork ribs (they were awesome) and all the other good stuff. After we all ate we played dominos for like 3 hours. It was a great day. That night Ricci and I went back home and Amanda, Will & Emma came over to watch the fire works that everyone shoots off in our neighborhood. I hope everyone else had a great 4th too.

Last Sunday we celebrated fathers day at my parents house. We played in the pool and everyone was there. enjoy the video.

Astros 09

Lori and I went to the Astros game last Saturday night and had a blast. It has been a long time since Lori and I had spent time together with out kids or family. We were behinde the dugout on the third base line. It was a great game. They actually won!!!! We also got to catch up on anything that we could think of to talk about.

Fathers Day 09 with Ricci Sr.

On fathers day this year we decided to go so my father in-law in Vidor. We went to Ricci's aunt and uncle to eat BBQ. We also got to see the kids that we haven't gotten to see in three years. It was so nice to see the family. While we were in town we went to the Vidor Fire Department. This is a new station as they lost the old station to hurrican Rita. It was nice to meet the members that were on location and to get a outstanding tour. As most of you know we lost our station to hurricane Ike in San Leon. We are currently rebuilding but it good to see how far another station has come and what we have to look forward too.

Here we come Alvin Express!

Tyler has officially made the 9U Alvin Express baseball team. He has been trying out with the team for a few weeks and they really like him. He is a great pitcher and all around player. This is a select baseball team that spends many hours playing baseball and you have to be good to make it. Congrats Ty. Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ricci are very proud!!!!!

Offshore fishing!

So Ricci and I went offshore fishing with his company and it wasn't what I expected. I wore a patch just in case I would get sea sick because I have never done this. I fish on my dads boat and never have a problem. The seas were really rough June 11. We went out about 2 hours and couldn't go any further because the seas were like 5 to 6 ft high. The whole 2 hours out I layed my head on a table trying to keep my stomach inside. When the captain came over the loud speaker he said that we had to turn around and go back becuase it was to rough. As soon as he said that and the boat slowed down enough I was able to make it to the back of the boat just in time. I was sick the whole way back (all 2 hours back). Then to top it off they decided to make hamburgers on the way back which the smell made me sicker. They have reset the date to go back out and I WILL NOT be back on that boat. Before marriage

I thought I would tell everyone how Ricci and I met. Back in 2001 my bestfriend Becky and I went to a club in Pasadena. At that time her and I always went to Graham Central Station every Saturday night. We were both single (I was in and out of a bad relationship) and always had a good time when we went out. Out of know where one night she said she had someone that she would like me to meet. So she called Ricci and he dropped what he was doing and met us up there. We danced for the last few hours and we traded numbers. We talked all the time on the phone. He actually taught classes at Bushi Ban so that he could train there. Every Saturday night I would see him before Becky and I would go out. We started dating in September of 2002 and on Christmas day he proposed to me and I said yes. We were married on July 19th 2003 and it has been the best years of my life.
